• Contact information, such as name, email address, telephone number, mailing/project address, and preferred contact method.
• Project information, including measurements, plans, photographs, design preferences, product selections, budget/timeline information, and notes you provide.
• Quote, consultation, order, delivery, installation, warranty, customer-service, and transaction-related records.
• Communications with Oakmere, including email, SMS, forms, appointment requests, and customer-service correspondence.
• Consent records, such as whether you elected to receive informational SMS, marketing SMS, or marketing email, together with the date, source, and consent-language version where available.
• Technical information that may be collected by our website, hosting provider, security tools, CRM, forms, or future analytics tools, such as IP address, browser/device information, referral information, and site activity.

3. How We Use Information

• Respond to quote requests and consultation requests.
• Prepare designs, product recommendations, proposals, orders, deliveries, installation coordination, and project support.
• Manage appointments, project updates, customer service, warranty/callbacks, and dispute documentation.
• Process and document payments through approved payment providers and maintain business/accounting records.
• Send informational messages when the recipient has provided the required consent or when otherwise legally permitted.
• Send marketing SMS or marketing email only when the recipient has provided the applicable marketing consent or when otherwise legally permitted.
• Protect Oakmere, customers, and our systems against fraud, abuse, security events, payment disputes, and unauthorized activity.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, insurance, carrier, processor, or regulatory requirements.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers and contractors that help us operate the business, such as website/hosting providers, CRM and communications providers, payment processors, banks, accountants, insurers, suppliers, fabricators, delivery providers, installers/subcontractors, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.

5. Mobile Information and Messaging Consent

Mobile opt-in data and messaging consent will not be sold or transferred to third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers that enable Oakmere to send messages or provide requested services, subject to appropriate operational and legal controls.

6. Marketing Choices

Marketing SMS and marketing email permissions are optional. You may withdraw marketing SMS consent by replying STOP to an Oakmere text message. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message. Withdrawal of one marketing channel does not automatically withdraw another channel unless the applicable system or law requires broader suppression.

7. Informational SMS Opt-Out

For Oakmere SMS sent through the same sender or Messaging Service, a supported STOP opt-out is treated as an SMS-channel opt-out and blocks further Oakmere SMS from that sender/service until the recipient validly opts back in. Oakmere will not use a custom consent field to override an active carrier/provider DND or opt-out block.

8. Cookies and Analytics

Oakmere may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for website functionality, security, forms, and performance. If Oakmere later deploys analytics, advertising pixels, or other non-essential tracking technologies, this policy and any required cookie/consent mechanisms should be updated before or at implementation.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including project administration, warranty/support, dispute evidence, accounting/tax, insurance, legal, messaging-consent proof, and recordkeeping. Final retention schedules remain an internal policy item to be established with professional guidance.

Oakmere services are directed to adults seeking home-improvement products or services and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children for marketing or sales purposes.

12. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies to Oakmere, you may have rights regarding your personal information. If a law applies, Oakmere will honor applicable verified requests as required. Oakmere should not represent that a particular state privacy statute applies until its applicability thresholds and effective dates are confirmed for the business.
