Oakmere Kitchen & Bath

Website / General Terms

1. Acceptance and Business Identity

These Website / General Terms govern use of the Oakmere Kitchen & Bath website and general online content. The website is operated by Oakmere LLC, d/b/a Oakmere Kitchen & Bath, 201 Rue Beauregard St, Suite 202, Lafayette, LA 70508.

2. Website Information Is General

Website content, product descriptions, examples, photographs, estimates, educational information, and design inspiration are provided for general informational and marketing purposes. Product specifications, measurements, delivery requirements, availability, colors, dimensions, lead times, pricing, and any requested independent-installer coordination should be confirmed in the applicable Oakmere quote, order, or project agreement. Availability, colors, dimensions, lead times, and pricing may change until confirmed in the applicable written project document. Independent installation scope and labor terms are governed by the separate agreement between the customer and installer.

3. Quotes, Consultations, and 24-Hour Quote Language

Submitting a form or requesting a consultation does not create a contract. Any Oakmere “24-hour quote” service standard begins only after Oakmere has received enough complete information to price the requested scope and the project is internally ready for pricing. Complex, custom, incomplete, or supplier-dependent requests may require additional time.

4. Project Agreements Control

Product sales, deposits, custom or special-order goods, deliveries, product-related services, change orders, cancellations, refunds, warranties, dispute procedures, and other project-specific obligations are governed by the customer’s applicable written proposal, Product Sales & Design Agreement, Final Measurement Design & Selection Approval, Final Order Authorization, approved change documents, and other applicable Oakmere project documents.

Independent cabinet installation is governed separately by an agreement directly between the customer and the independent installer. Oakmere is not a party to that installation agreement.

If an Oakmere project document conflicts with these general website terms, the applicable project-specific written agreement controls to the extent of the conflict.

5. Independent Installation Model

Oakmere does not sell independent cabinet installation labor under its product agreements. If a customer requests installation assistance, Oakmere may help facilitate an introduction to an independent installer and may assist administratively with measurement coordination, product information, document transmission, or scheduling communications.

Installation services are contracted directly between the customer and the independent installer under a separate agreement. The installer establishes and collects the installer’s own labor charges. Oakmere is not a party to that installation agreement and does not provide an installation-workmanship warranty.

The independent installer is responsible under the separate customer-installer agreement for the installer’s labor, workmanship, installation methods, field adjustments, personnel, equipment, jobsite safety, applicable permits or licensing requirements, insurance, installation-related damage, workmanship warranty, and other installation obligations.

Countertop templating, fabrication, or installation may be included when expressly provided as part of a countertop fabricator’s quoted scope. That countertop scope is separate from independent cabinet installation unless the applicable written project documents expressly state otherwise.

6. Measurements, Plans, and Customer Approvals

Final measurements, drawings, product selections, specifications, colors, finishes, accessories, and quantities may require customer approval before Oakmere commits to an order. Website images or screen colors may not exactly represent physical materials. The final written project documents govern the approved selection.

7. Intellectual Property

Oakmere branding, website text, original designs, graphics, and other content owned by Oakmere may not be copied, republished, or commercially exploited without permission, except as allowed by law. Supplier/manufacturer materials remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Third-Party Products and Services

Oakmere may provide or coordinate products and services supplied by third parties. Manufacturer, supplier, fabricator, carrier, payment-provider, and other third-party terms may apply. Oakmere will not publish warranty or financing promises beyond those actually approved and available.

9. Payments and Financing

Payment methods, deposits, milestone payments, financing (if later offered), payment-processing charges, cancellations, and refunds will be governed by the applicable quote/agreement and payment-provider terms. Oakmere does not currently make public financing promises in these general website terms.

10. No Professional Advice

Website content is not legal, tax, engineering, architectural, structural, plumbing, electrical, or other licensed professional advice. Customers should obtain appropriate professional advice when required for their project.

11. Availability and Website Operation

We may change, suspend, or discontinue website content or features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website availability.

12. Governing Project Terms

Any governing-law, venue, arbitration, attorney-fee, limitation-of-liability, indemnity, lien, warranty, or other enforceability provisions for customer projects should be contained in the attorney-reviewed customer agreement rather than inserted into these website terms without review.

13. Consumer Cancellation Rights

Certain transactions completed in a customer’s home or away from a seller’s regular place of business may be subject to federal or state cancellation-right requirements. Oakmere’s customer agreement and sales procedures must be reviewed and configured to provide any required notices/forms before applicable in-home contracting begins.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
